SALON GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
We will provide you with a safe environment that complies with guidelines issued by the government.
OUR SALON
We have undertaken a full Covid 19 risk assessment of the salon and the following information has been compiled for your safety.
We have separated our waiting area to allow us to socially distance ourselves and customers from one and another.
We will be limiting the amount of people in the salon at any one time, to allow for recommended social distancing.
We will ensure adequate ventilation throughout the salon by keeping doors and windows open.
All surfaces throughout the salon will be cleaned thoroughly with the appropriate products between each treatment.
All equipment will be thoroughly sanitized after every use, this includes metal objects and all brushes/combs.
One off disposable items will be used where necessary and applicable.
Our toilet facilities are available and will be monitored regularly for enhanced hygiene regime.
OUR TEAM
We have conducted staff meetings and training to ensure all staff members are fully aware of the new hygiene policy and protocols.
We have agreed social distancing for our team wherever possible to do so.
Our team will wear full PPE when required. This will include full face visors, gloves, masks where necessary . This will be for the entire duration of your service, to be able to provide our services safely.
PPE will be replaced after each client for your safety.
ON YOUR ARRIVAL
Please come to the salon door and wait outside. A team member will come to greet you and check you in.
Please be on time for your appointment and allow extra time for your appointment.
Please attend your appointment alone as groups cannot be accommodated.
Children are allowed but only if they have a pre booked appointment and a parent or carer must be present.
Clients that require carer’s or assistance will be allowed to attend with a carer.
Please wear a mask to your appointment. This will be compulsory for our salon and must be worn whilst in contact with our staff at all times. Masks will be available to purchase for £1 in salon.
You will be asked to sanitize your hands and escorted to your styling station.
Please bring as few personal belongings into the salon to decrease the risk of transmission (i.e. coats/bags )
We are participating in track and trace. As part of this system we will ask that you make us aware if you develop any symptoms within a 14 day period after your visit to us.
We ask that you remain in your allocated seat to help control social distancing.
Some services may be restricted.
We are unable to offer hot drinks or magazines. We will be able to offer water in disposable cups or bottles.
We politely ask that you give us at least 48hrs notice if you cannot attend your appointment. This is to allow us to manage numbers in the salon and accommodate other clients
If you are unwell or live with someone who is self isolating, please do not attend your appointment.
If you have any of the following symptoms :-
Fever
Sore throat
Continuous cough
Loss of smell or taste
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND YOUR APPOINTMENT
It is not our intention to offend or discriminate against anybody but we are strictly adhering to the government guidelines set out.
